We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior/Principal Nuclear Safety Case Consultant to join a leading engineering consultancy supporting some of the UK's most important nuclear programmes. Working within a highly regulated environment, you'll play a key role in the development and delivery of complex nuclear safety cases, providing technical expertise across major engineering projects.
This position would suit a Safety Case Consultant with experience in the nuclear power or wider nuclear industry who enjoys solving complex technical challenges. It will appeal to someone who is confident authoring and reviewing safety cases, engaging with clients and delivering high-quality technical solutions within multidisciplinary project teams.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, author and review nuclear safety cases, engineering change documentation and technical reports for major nuclear projects.
- Provide specialist technical advice to resolve complex nuclear safety and engineering challenges.
- Support the successful delivery of projects by managing technical work packages, programme requirements and client expectations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients while providing pragmatic, proportionate safety solutions.
- Support project planning, resource management and cost estimation to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Applicants must have previous nuclear safety case experience, be UK Citizens and be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance. Regular travel within the UK may also be required as part of the role.
