About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Skilled Operative to work on a temp-to-perm basis delivering planned maintenance and refurbishment works within the Social Housing sector across Warrington, Cheshire, and Crewe. Working within tenanted properties, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of trade tasks including kitchen and bathroom installations, joinery, plumbing, plastering, and general property maintenance. Experience with vinyl flooring is advantageous but not essential.

This role would suit a reliable and customer-focused operative who is confident working independently within occupied homes and delivering high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out full kitchen and bathroom installations
  • Completing a range of joinery repairs and installation works
  • Undertaking general plumbing tasks and minor repairs
  • Performing plastering and patch repairs as required
  • Installing vinyl flooring where necessary (desirable)
  • Completing general maintenance and refurbishment works within occupied properties
  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with health and safety regulations
  • Providing excellent customer service while working in residents' homes
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and professionalism at all times

Requirements

  • To be considered for this role, candidates should have:
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Joinery (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience as a Multi Skilled Operative
  • Strong skills across multiple trades including joinery, plumbing, plastering, and kitchen/bathroom fitting
  • Previous experience working within the Social Housing sector
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Experience fitting vinyl flooring is desirable but not essential
