Are you an organised and proactive coordinator with experience in transport, logistics, fleet or a similar operational environment?

We are looking for a Fleet Coordinator to join a busy fleet operation in Warrington, playing a key role in keeping vehicles available, compliant and moving.

The Role
You'll be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of vehicle defects, maintenance and availability across a mixed fleet of HGVs, trailers, cars and vans.

You'll work closely with drivers, transport teams, external maintenance providers and the wider fleet function to ensure issues are dealt with quickly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate day-to-day vehicle defect management across the fleet.

Manage VOR (Vehicle Off Road) events from escalation through to resolution.

Ensure safety-critical defects are immediately escalated and vehicles grounded where required.

Monitor daily driver walkaround checks and follow up on missed submissions.

Triage defects and arrange appropriate repairs with external suppliers.

Book vehicles into and out of workshops for unplanned maintenance.

Maintain accurate defect, repair and supplier records within the FMS.

Act as the first point of contact for drivers with fleet-related queries.

Liaise daily with maintenance suppliers regarding repair progress, ETAs and vehicle returns.

Escalate issues that could impact operational service levels.

Support the wider fleet team with incident and insurance information.

About You
We're looking for someone with:
Previous experience in coordination, scheduling, logistics administration or a similar role.

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience using an FMS, transport management system or similar software.

Good Microsoft Office and Windows skills.

The ability to remain calm, accurate and proactive in a fast-paced operational environment.

Desirable:
Experience within transport, logistics or fleet operations.

Knowledge of HGV maintenance and O-licence defect requirements.

Experience dealing with external maintenance providers or repair networks.
