Salary: £37,280 - £38,680 per year
About the Role
Our client is seeking Residential Childcare Practitioners to join their dedicated team in children's residential homes in Walsall.
You will play a crucial role in supporting and caring for children and young people, helping them develop life skills, build positive relationships, and achieve their full potential. You will work alongside a Senior Co-Worker on a structured rota, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
What Were Looking For
Experience in children's residential care or transferable skills
Level 3/4 Children's Residential Care or equivalent - preferred rather than essential, and we welcome strong applicants who can demonstrate relevant experience, transferable skills, and a genuine commitment to working with children and young people
A full UK driving licence (essential) youll need to transport young people to appointments, school, social activities etc
Compassion, resilience, and the ability to build strong relationships with young people
Shift Pattern
Long shifts plus sleep ins
Rolling 3-week rota
Averaging 10 shifts per month
