Full time hours on a temporarybasis
Manage and assess planning applications, ensuring compliance with planning legislation, local policies, and national guidance.
Prepare reports and recommendations for planning decisions.
Provide advice and guidance to applicants, architects, developers, councillors, and members of the public on planning matters.
Conduct site visits and evaluate development proposals, plans, and supporting documentation.
Liaise with consultees, stakeholders, and internal departments throughout the planning process.
Present applications and recommendations at Planning Committee meetings when required.
Handle planning appeals, discharge of conditions, and related casework.
Maintain accurate records and contribute to the efficient delivery of the Development Management service.
