The Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing MSP where you'll take ownership of developing existing client relationships while identifying and converting new business opportunities. Working closely with the Managing Director and Technical Team, you'll become a trusted adviser to your customers, helping them maximise the value of our managed services while uncovering opportunities to expand and strengthen our partnerships. You'll enjoy genuine autonomy, influence our commercial strategy and play a key role in the continued growth of a business that prides itself on outstanding customer service and long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial Growth: Develop and grow existing client accounts while identifying new business opportunities. Prepare proposals, quotations, tenders and commercial agreements through to successful completion. Drive cross-selling and upselling opportunities across our managed services portfolio. Attend networking events, supplier meetings and industry events to generate new opportunities and strengthen relationships. Monitor account performance, sales metrics and forecasts, recommending actions that support continued business growth. Work alongside the leadership team to help shape and develop our sales strategy.
- Customer Success: Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients, acting as a genuine ambassador for the business. Conduct regular account reviews and present service performance reports that clearly demonstrate value. Collaborate with our technical team to deliver tailored IT solutions that meet each client's requirements. Act as the key point of contact between customers and internal teams, ensuring a seamless customer experience. Maintain exceptional levels of customer satisfaction while supporting long-term retention and account growth.
- Business Performance: Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline activity and sales forecasts. Provide regular reporting on account performance, customer spend and future opportunities. Set and monitor account objectives aligned with wider business goals. Identify commercial trends, customer requirements and opportunities for continuous improvement.
About You:
You're a commercially minded relationship builder who enjoys understanding customer challenges, creating tailored solutions and helping businesses succeed. You'll also bring:
- Previous experience within Account Management, Business Development or Consultative B2B Sales.
- Experience within IT Managed Services, Technology or Professional Services would be highly advantageous.
- A proven track record of growing existing accounts while generating new business opportunities.
- Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to engage confidently at all levels.
- Strong commercial awareness and a consultative approach to selling.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple client relationships.
- Experience presenting solutions and conducting customer review meetings.
- Confidence working independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues.
- Experience using CRM systems to manage customer activity, pipelines and forecasting.
- A proactive attitude with a genuine desire to contribute to a growing business.
