Our client, a leading manufacturer based in South Oxfordshire, is looking for an organised and proactive Health & Safety Administrator to join their Quality team.
This is a varied and rewarding role supporting Health & Safety, Quality and Facilities across the business. You'll play a key part in ensuring compliance, maintaining accurate records and driving continuous improvement within a busy manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain Health & Safety records, compliance registers, planners and documentation.
Coordinate inspections, servicing schedules, audits and statutory compliance activities.
Support the preparation and maintenance of risk assessments, COSHH assessments, RAMS and safe systems of work.
Arrange contractor visits, issue permits to work and maintain contractor compliance documentation.
Assist with Health & Safety training, toolbox talks and workplace inspections.
Produce reports, meeting minutes and Quality, Health, Safety and Facilities (QHSF) documentation.
Support ISO 9001 quality management processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Previous experience in a Health & Safety, QHSE or Compliance Administration role.
Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
A good understanding of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and current Health & Safety legislation.
IOSH Managing Safely qualification (or higher), or an equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
Strong administration skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and SharePoint.
Excellent communication and organisational skills with the confidence to work across different departments.
