Robert Half are pleased to be partnering with a rapidly growing organisation based in Walingford to recruit a Part Time Accountant (3 days per week).
The Part Time Accountant will receive a full equivalent salary of £45,000 (£27,000 take home after pro rata) plus additional benefits including mostly remote working - you will only need to go into the office 1 day per week!
Primary responsibilities; Prepare monthly management accounts for review by the Financial Controller.
Analyse sales performance and provide insightful reporting.
Prepare and maintain stock reports, ensuring inventory values are accurate.
Process and reconcile monthly accruals and prepayments.
Maintain the fixed asset register, including depreciation calculations and asset reconciliations.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and assist with month-end close activities.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes as required.
Key experience and attributes; Previous experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
Experience preparing management accounts.
Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
Good understanding of accruals, fixed assets and balance sheet reconciliations.
Strong Excel skills and confidence working with accounting systems.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
A professional, reliable and collaborative approach.
