We have an?exciting?opportunity for an?enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant.
As part of the busy catering team, we would love to welcome a new colleague who can bring creativity?and imagination with?an abundance?of great ideas to enhance?mealtimes.
Ideally?you will have previous?experience?within a busy catering environment.
The key responsibilities of the role include assisting the cook in the management of the nursery kitchens, food policies, organising, preparing, and serving nursery meals in accordance with the nursery menus and individual dietary requirements.
You will be a good role model to the children, demonstrating patience and encouragement and take all the necessary steps to safeguard children by following policies and procedures in place.
You will be required to work 4 hours a day Monday to Thursday.
A current Food Hygiene certificate is a requirement for this role however we can provide training for the ideal candidate.
Our Kitchen Assistants?ensure hygiene and?cleanliness?within the kitchen is of the highest standard in accordance with?Environmental?Health?requirements?and legislation.?Excellent knowledge of current legislations in Environmental Health and Food Standards Agency?would be highly desirable.
This post requires a satisfactory, enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check on appointment and every three years thereafter.
