About the
Role: We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Telecare Field Technician to join our team.
In this field-based role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, replacing, and maintaining telecare equipment in customers' homes and supported housing settings.
This is a lone-working position, requiring excellent communication skills and the confidence to work independently while providing a high level of customer service.
The role operates Monday to Friday, with participation in an on-call rota covering evenings, nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
Key
Responsibilities: Install, repair, replace, and maintain telecare equipment at customer locations.
Provide clear guidance and support to service users, ensuring they understand how to use the equipment safely and effectively.
Assess situations and take appropriate action in line with company procedures and training.
Accurately update service user records and maintain relevant documentation using company systems.
Work safely and independently while remaining in regular contact with the wider team.
Requirements: A caring, calm, and empathetic approach, with excellent communication skills.
Confidence working independently in a field-based, lone-working environment.
Willingness to participate in a rolling on-call rota, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
Full UK Driving Licence (a company vehicle will be provided).
Basic IT skills and good attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
