About the Role:
Paragon Talent is a specialist executive search firm working exclusively across the global Flavour, Fragrance & Ingredients markets.
We launched at the beginning of 2025 with the aim of building something genuinely specialist: a recruitment business known for understanding its markets properly, representing people well and delivering searches with a level of quality, transparency and care that clients remember.
We work with manufacturers, ingredient businesses, flavour and fragrance houses and distributors across the US, UK and Europe, supporting senior appointments across Commercial, Technical, Operations, Supply Chain and Leadership.
Our work ranges from senior commercial and technical hires through to retained Director, VP and C-Suite searches, and weve built relationships with some of the most recognised businesses in our sectors.
Were now looking for another experienced recruitment professional to join us and become an important part of the next stage of Paragon Talent.
The Opportunity: This is not a role for somebody who wants to inherit a narrow desk, follow a rigid process and be heavily managed.
There is a lot of freedom here.
Youll have the autonomy to build your own market, develop your own relationships and become known as an expert within the sector you choose to specialise in.
Were still a young business, which also means the opportunity goes much further than billing.
The right person can have a genuine influence over how Paragon develops: the markets we enter, the clients we work with, how we recruit, how we build the team and ultimately what the business becomes.
As the business grows, there is also the opportunity to build and lead your own team.
And financially, there is significant upside.
We offer a competitive salary based on experience, alongside a commission structure paying up to 50%. For somebody capable of building a strong desk, there is very little ceiling on what can be earned.
Who Were Looking For: Were not looking for perfection.
Were looking for somebody with the right attitude, commercial ability and drive to build something.
Youll need experience within recruitment, executive search or senior-level recruitment and a track record that shows you can develop relationships, manage searches properly and deliver.
Experience within Flavours, Fragrances, Food & Beverage Ingredients, Nutraceuticals, Pharmaceutical Ingredients or adjacent markets would obviously be valuable, but it isnt essential.
What matters more is that you want to learn the market properly.
Our reputation is built on knowing the industries we recruit into, understanding the companies, meeting people face-to-face, attending the major international exhibitions and becoming genuinely useful to the people we work with.
Wed rather hire somebody curious, driven and determined to become excellent than somebody who simply happens to arrive with the right market knowledge.

How We Work: Paragon is deliberately not built around volume recruitment.
We favour retained and exclusive search, proper market mapping and long-term client relationships.
We invest heavily in understanding our markets through international travel, industry events, client meetings and face-to-face relationships. We also use technology where it genuinely improves the recruitment process, including candidate video profiles, structured shortlist presentation and behavioural profiling.
Ultimately, though, the business is built around relationships.
Our view is simple: success in recruitment is not getting somebody to sign an offer. It is finding the right person who is still adding value years later.
