People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a LGV Class 1 Driver, Category CE Driver or Articulated Lorry Driver.
Rates of Pay:
- Days: £20.00 per hour
Shift Pattern:
- Monday to Friday
- Day shifts
- Start times between 04:00 and 08:00

Day-to-Day Duties:
- Depot-to-depot trunking routes and trailer swaps
- Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensuring all loads are secured safely and correctly
- Adhering to traffic laws, company procedures, and delivery schedules
Essential Skills:
- Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) driving licence
- Minimum of two years' Class 1 (C+E) driving experience
- No more than six penalty points for minor infringements
- Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
- Good spoken and written English
Desirable Experience:
- Previous commercial driving experience
Training:
- Driver assessment required prior to start
- Industry-related training and ongoing support
