Role: Health & Safety/ CDM Consultant
Location: Wakefield office Must be able to travel to projects across the North of England

WRG is delighted to be supporting an independent property and construction consultancy with the appointment of an ambitious Health & Safety/ CDM Consultant.
The business specialises in planning, coordinating and delivering construction projects throughout their lifecycle, providing services across Project Management, Cost Management, Employers Agent and Health & Safety/ CDM. Following continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are looking to add another consultant to their established team.

The client is open-minded about your background and places as much importance on attitude, communication skills and team fit as they do on direct experience. This could suit a NEBOSH qualified Health & Safety professional with some exposure to CDM who is looking to develop within a construction consultancy environment. Full training and support will be provided, alongside clear objectives for progression and promotion.
Responsibilities:
Undertake construction site inspections, audits and risk assessments.
Advise clients and project teams on Health & Safety and CDM 2015 compliance.
Prepare and review pre-construction information and construction phase plans.
Maintain design risk registers and participate in design risk reviews and project meetings.
Work closely with site teams to identify risks and ensure appropriate control measures are implemented.
Review RAMS and other project safety documentation.
Liaise with clients, architects, designers, contractors, developers and other project stakeholders.
Maintain and strengthen existing client relationships while supporting the development of new business.
Keep all relevant parties informed of changes affecting project safety and compliance.
Requirements:
NEBOSH Construction Certificate, NEBOSH General Certificate or an equivalent qualification.
Previous experience within Health & Safety and some exposure to CDM compliance duties.
A working knowledge of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
A proactive, organised and team-focused approach.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the North of England.
