Our client is an extremely innovative and forward-thinking food scale up disrupting the market. In a period of strong growth as the brand is sold in major retailers and undergoing huge EU expansion, they are growing the team with this UK Commercial Manager. Their goal is to be a real industry disruptor with ambition to help consumers make alternative and better health choices.

The role: As UK Commercial Manager you will be responsible for all UK accounts across grocery and impulse retail. You will have full P&L responsibility and be accountable for nurturing current relationships as well as securing new customer relationships specifically in the grocery & impulse retail channels. As you will be joining a small team, you'll have real influence on the future of the brand, being pro-active and willing to go the extra mile to build a true industry disruptor. You will grow their existing account base by bringing in new customers across grocery, retail and forecourts.

Ideal candidate: You should have a strong track record of managing National retail accounts and experience of bringing in new business. You will be an exceptional communicator, a good relationship builder and results focused to help progress this business. Experience in a smaller, start-up environment and as UK Commercial Manager is essential. A candidate with high commercial acumen who can demonstrate a strong track record of P&L management is preferred. The successful candidate must be accessible to their office 4 days a week in Central London.

Benefits & details: Competitive base salary of up to c£70k depending on experience + package. 3/4 days in London office, 1 from home. Potential growth opportunity is huge; the right hire could gain full responsibility for UK sales team as the company grows.
