Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client in Somerset who are actively looking to recruit a Warehouse Supply Chain Manager to join the company initially on 12 month contract.
What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to take ownership of operational performance while developing team leadership experience.
The successful applicant will take responsibility for the management of our clients 3PL partner, oversee on-site warehouse and packaging activities, and ensure smooth, accurate, and timely order fulfilment across all channels.
What you will need to succeed:
Proven experience in a management role within warehouse / logistics, 3PL experience would be beneficial although not essential (currently outsourced).
Experience working in a FMCG manufacturing environment.
Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team to achieve operational targets.
Experience working within EU markets beneficial.
High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
Excellent communication and reporting skills, both verbal and written.
Strong commercial acumen, experience of scaling up within an SME also beneficial.
ERP systems experience essential, ideally Net Suite however SAP or Dynamics would also be acceptable.
Ideally from the Frome area or close surrounds as 100% office based (potentially some hybrid at a later date).
