Join our team as a Family Navigator and make a real difference in your community. This varied and rewarding role will see you out and about each day, speaking to and connecting with families at our library drop-in sessions across
We are looking for someone who is confident, approachable, and well-informed about the local area, with a passion for creating inclusive spaces where people feel valued and supported.
No two days are the same, and you may start your day off at a local library and finish it by talking to parents at the school gate. Youll be building strong relationships with libraries, schools and other family hub colleagues using your growing knowledge of local services and activities to confidently navigate families to find the right support, ensuring they can access whats available in their community.
As a Family Navigator, you will be a key part of the local community support network, helping families access the right services at the right time. You will work across Family Hub flagship buildings and community venues, acting as a visible, approachable presence for families and partner organisations.
Help families, children and young people navigate the range of services available across the Family Hub network.
Build strong partnerships with schools, early years settings, health services, and community groups.
Promote Family Hub services through community engagement and local events.
Support co production activities with families and colleagues to shape local services.
Map community resources
Promote volunteering opportunities to help strengthen local community resilience
There are 3 roles available:
Family Navigator - North Wiltshire (Job reference 7828). This includes the towns of Cricklade, Purton, Malmesbury, Lyneham, Royal Wootton Bassett, Calne, Chippenham and Corsham. Family Navigator - East Wiltshire (Job reference 7830) This includes the towns of Bulford, Larkhill, Tidworth and Amesbury.
Family Navigator - West Wiltshire (Job reference 7831).This includes the towns of Warminster, Westbury, Mere, Bradford-on-Avon and Trowbridge.
Location: Various locations across Wiltshire, dependant on role.
