The Opportunity: We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Training Delivery Coordinator to join our team at our Nexus HQ in Wigan. This is a busy and varied role, providing day-to-day administrative and coordination support across all Head Office training delivery. You'll play an important part in making sure courses run smoothly, delegates have a great experience and the wider training team has everything they need to deliver effectively.
What you'll be doing: As a key member of the training delivery team, you'll support the smooth running of our training programmes by:
- Preparing training materials, coursework packs and delegate resources
- Coordinating course administration and ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately
- Greeting and registering delegates and providing a welcoming onsite experience
- Supporting online course check-ins and virtual training where required
- Setting up training rooms, equipment and resources ahead of courses
- Helping coordinate the practical day-to-day requirements of multiple training programmes
- Keeping training records and systems up to date
- Supporting the wider team with general administration and coordination
- Helping with general reception, facilities and office-related tasks when required
- Responding to queries from delegates, trainers and colleagues in a professional and timely way
This is primarily an onsite role based at our Nexus HQ in Wigan, reflecting the hands-on nature of the position and the need to support training delivery as it happens. Following successful completion of a six-month probationary period, there may be the opportunity to work from home one day per week, where operational requirements allow. This will be dependent on training course schedules and the needs of the team, so you'll be required to work onsite on days when courses are running.
What we're looking for: We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Previous experience in an administrative, coordination or similar support role
- Strong organisation skills and excellent attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities in a busy environment
- Confidence communicating with a range of people, both face-to-face and remotely
- A proactive and hands-on approach – you'll be someone who sees what needs doing and gets on with it
- The ability to work accurately and calmly under pressure
- Good IT and general systems skills
- A positive, team-focused attitude and a willingness to support wherever needed
- Experience within training, learning & development or education would be beneficial, but it isn't essential.
