Shifts: Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 4:00pm, Friday 8:00am to 1:30pm

About the Role

We are recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Totnes. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company committed to quality, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. Working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for inspecting materials and finished products, managing quality issues, and supporting production teams to ensure products consistently meet customer and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out inspections of incoming goods, production first-offs and finished products.
  • Manage and maintain the reject log, including resolving and closing quality issues.
  • Ensure customer inspection requirements and product specifications are met.
  • Quarantine, log and process rejected stock, including arranging scrappage where required.
  • Promote health, safety, environmental and quality standards across the workplace.

About You

Essential:

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Organised and capable of working independently when required.
  • Ability to follow quality, health & safety and environmental procedures.

Desirable:

  • Previous quality inspection experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience using WMS, ERP or similar business systems.
  • Knowledge of inspection procedures and quality standards.
