Are you a driven sales professional who enjoys building relationships, generating new business and achieving targets? Our client is a successful and growing family-run business supplying retail products and business consumables to some of the UK's biggest fuel and convenience retail brands. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an enthusiastic Internal Sales Executive to join their friendly and supportive team.

The Role
As an Internal Sales Executive, you will be responsible for developing existing customer accounts while identifying and winning new business opportunities. You'll build strong customer relationships, understand client needs and recommend products that add value. This is a proactive sales role where you'll spend time speaking with customers, generating leads, converting enquiries and helping drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow sales within existing customer accounts
- Make outbound sales calls to promote products, offers and new ranges
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Generate and convert sales leads
- Take customers from initial enquiry through to placing orders
- Build long-lasting customer relationships
- Upsell and cross-sell products where appropriate
- Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity on the CRM system
- Handle customer enquiries and provide excellent customer service

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in a Sales Executive, Internal Sales or Telesales role
- A proven track record of achieving sales targets and KPIs
- Confidence making outbound sales calls
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to identify opportunities and close sales
- Good organisational and administration skills
- Experience using CRM systems
- Good Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word and Excel
