Are you an experienced HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Driver looking for a stable position with a trusted company? Do you have the driving skills and customer service passion to turn every delivery into a five-star experience? If so, read on. This might be the opportunity for you!

Here at GXO we are offering the opportunity for highly experienced Class 2 Lorry Drivers to join our delivery team out of our Dunstable distribution centre, LU5 5TA, for a large retail client.

Youll be working on a full-time, permanent basis, working 40.25 hours per week on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. Start times between 02:00 and 07:00.

What youll do on a typical day:

  • Ensure accurate, timely, and safe delivery of customer products, including multi-drop deliveries within agreed delivery windows
  • Delivering totes to retail locations, offload goods correctly, complete signed paperwork, and collect any agreed returns or waste
  • Follow all safe working practices, including correctly securing loads to minimise damage and always ensure safety
  • Provide excellent customer service, report vehicle defects to the Transport Office, and attend required training to fulfil the driver role effectively

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • A full valid UK CATEGORY Class 2 licence, with valid digital tachograph card and driver CPC
  • No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements)
  • Previous experience in multidrop, store deliveries preferable but not essential
  • Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal
  • Must have a good geographical knowledge, experience of driving in London is preferred
