Responsibilities as a Deputy Manager:

  • Support the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the nursing home, ensuring high standards of care and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead, support and develop the care team, promoting excellent clinical practice, safeguarding and person-centred care.
  • Oversee care planning, audits, medication, risk management and quality assurance, ensuring residents' needs are consistently met.

Requirements as a Deputy Manager:

  • Previous experience in a Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead or senior nursing/care management role within a nursing home.
  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding and clinical governance.
  • Active NMC Pin
