Are you an AC installation or maintenance Engineer looking for a new challenge? We are seeking Air Conditioning Engineers with a valid UK Driving License to cover clients across Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex. Our client is a growing and dynamic local business that boasts a broad client base and specialises in the installation and maintenance of market leading products in the air conditioning and sustainable heating & cooling sector.

The Role - Air Conditioning Installation Engineer: You will be covering projects across East Anglia and Essex, working as part of a skilled and friendly installation team. The role involves the installation, commissioning and handover of air conditioning and ASHP systems for a wide range of commercial and domestic clients, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of quality, safety and customer satisfaction.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Installation of air conditioning and Air source heat pump systems, including split, multi-split, VRV and VRF systems.
  • Installation of associated pipework, ductwork, containment and condensate drainage systems.
  • Assisting with system commissioning, testing and fault-free handover to clients.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications and site plans.
  • Working safely and efficiently on a variety of commercial and residential projects.
  • Ensuring all installations comply with current industry regulations and company standards.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and professional working environment on-site.
  • Providing excellent customer service, representing the company professionally at all times.
  • Identifying and communicating any site issues, design changes or additional requirements to management.
  • Completing all required paperwork, installation records and commissioning documentation accurately and on time.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, subcontractors and other trades to ensure projects are delivered successfully.

Qualifications and experience required for the role:

  • Fgas 2079 Cat 1 - (Essential)
  • NVQ Level 2 Refrigeration & Air conditioning (Minimum), NVQ Level 3 Refrigeration & Air conditioning (Desired but not essential)
  • NVQ / City & Guilds - Electrical Engineering - (Desired but not essential)
  • Daikin & Mitsubishi AC system knowledge would be an advantage
  • 2 - 5 Years Experience
  • Full UK Drivers Licence (Clean)
  • Some working and staying away will be required
