A specialist school in Thatcham is seeking a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team as soon as possible. As a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who have a range of complex needs, providing consistent and personalised support throughout the school day.
As a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide dedicated 1:1 and small group support
- Support pupils with complex SEN, including ASD and communication difficulties
- Assist pupils with learning, social development, and independence
- Help implement individualised learning and support strategies
- Promote positive communication and engagement
- Support pupils both inside and outside the classroom
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, therapists, and other professionals
