Recruitable Staffing is recruiting experienced Heavy Vehicle Technicians / HGV Mechanics for a specialist engineering contract based in Ashchurch. You'll be working on the maintenance, repair, servicing and refurbishment of specialist heavy vehicles and equipment as part of an experienced engineering team.
Duties
Servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs
Mechanical and electrical fault finding
Vehicle inspections and defect rectification
Component removal and replacement
Preventative maintenance and overhaul work
Supporting vehicle refurbishment programmes
Working to strict safety and quality standards
Requirements
NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
Experience with HGVs, commercial vehicles, plant, heavy machinery or military vehicles
Strong mechanical maintenance and diagnostic skills
Basic electrical fault-finding experience
Able to obtain BPSS security clearance
