Your responsibilities as Accounts Assistant:

  • Process supplier invoices, matching them against purchase orders and goods received notes
  • Resolve invoice queries, supplier discrepancies and maintain accurate supplier records
  • Support month-end activities including accruals, reconciliations and reporting
  • Complete GRNI reconciliations and investigate outstanding balances
  • Assist with weekly payment runs, supplier statement reconciliations and aged creditor management
  • Maintain accurate financial records, strong audit trails and support year-end audit requirements

What we're looking for in an Accounts Assistant:

  • Previous experience within Purchase Ledger, Accounts Payable or a broader finance position
  • Strong knowledge of invoice processing, reconciliations and supplier account management
