Pay Rates:
Punch Press Operator (Day Shift): £14.04 per hour
Punch Press Setter (Day Shift): £15.60 per hour
Night Shift Premium: + £1.50 per hour added to the above rates
Night Operator Rate: £15.60/hour
Night Setter Rate: £17.10/hour
We are recruiting an experienced Punch Press Setter/Operator for a well-established sheet-metal fabrication company in Wolverhampton.
Key Responsibilities:
Setting and operating CNC punch press machines
Selecting tooling, loading material, and adjusting machine parameters
Working from engineering drawings and production plans
Inspecting completed parts and ensuring quality compliance
Maintaining workspace cleanliness and safety standards
Required Skills & Experience:
CNC punch press experience Trumpf punch / Amada press brake experience highly desirable
Ability to read engineering drawings and work with tight tolerances
Strong attention to detail and quality assurance
Physically able to lift, push, and move sheet-metal materials
Previous sheet-metal fabrication experience preferred
Hours (night shift):
MondayWednesday: 4:30pm3:00am
Thursday 4:30pm - 2am
Hours (day shift):
Monday-Friday: 8:00am-4:30pm
