MIG Welder (Sheet Metal) – Telford People Solutions are currently recruiting for a MIG Welder (Sheet Metal) to join our well-established manufacturing client based in Telford .

This role would suit candidates with experience as a MIG Welder, Sheet Metal Welder, Welder Fabricator, Fabrication Welder, Metal Worker or Production Welder .

- Friendly Working Environment Day-to-Day Duties As a MIG Welder (Sheet Metal), your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Performing MIG welding on sheet metal components to a high standard
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints and job specifications
- Setting up welding equipment and ensuring correct settings for each job
- Assembling and fabricating metal components using MIG welding techniques
- Preparing, cutting and welding sheet metal components to engineering drawings
- Carrying out quality inspections to ensure completed welds meet required standards
- Operating welding equipment and associated workshop machinery safely and efficiently
- Using hand tools and measuring equipment to complete fabrication tasks
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment at all times
- Following all company health and safety procedures Essential Skills To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of six months' experience in MIG welding sheet metal
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good communication skills with a good level of spoken and written English
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- A good level of physical fitness, as heavy lifting may be required Desirable Experience
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Welding qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential
