We are recruiting for a Housing Officer to join a well-established housig provider on a pemanent basis.
This is a hybrid working role, managing a housing patch across Telford . You'll be responsible for delivering a full range of tenancy management services, supporting residents, maintaining sustainable tenancies, and ensuring excellent customer service across your patch.
The area benefits from very low levels of anti-social behaviour (ASB) , allowing you to focus on proactive tenancy management and building positive relationships with residents.
Key Responsibilities of a Housing Officer: Managing a designated housing patch and providing a high-quality tenancy management service.
Carrying out tenancy visits, sign-ups, and end-of-tenancy processes.
Supporting residents to sustain their tenancies and resolve tenancy-related issues.
Managing low-level ASB cases and neighbour disputes where required.
Investigating tenancy breaches and taking appropriate action.
Working with internal departments and external agencies to support residents.
Maintaining accurate records and updating housing management systems.
Delivering a customer-focused service while meeting performance targets.
About You:
Previous experience in a Housing Officer or Tenancy Management role.
A good understanding of tenancy management legislation and housing best practice.
Experience of managing ASB cases, although the caseload is expected to be minimal.
Excellent communication, organisation, and customer service skills.
The ability to manage your own workload and work independently.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
