Technical Sales Engineer St Ives, Cambridgeshire with Occasional travel to customer sites Monday-Friday 08:00 - 16:30 A leading manufacturer of special purpose machinery is actively seeking an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join their team in St Ives, Cambridgeshire.
Their innovative processing, production and packaging line equipment is used across a wide variety of industries including food & FMCG.
In this business-critical role you will be the link between engineering and sales, producing technical and commercial proposals that will result in the awarding of projects from client opportunities.
You will be taking ownership of the full life cycle of bids from initial enquiry through to internal handover, working closely with the Sales, Engineering, Project Management and Procurement Teams.
This is an exciting time to be joining them as they are continuing to expand their core product ranges, integrating technological developments in automation, and the development of bespoke solutions to meet specific customer needs means your work will be interesting and varied.
Applications are invited from Technical Sales Engineers, Applications Engineers, Proposals Engineers with experience of working with a special purpose machinery manufacturer or similar.
Previous experience of the food industry would be beneficial but not essential.
Applicants will need to be able to use Solid Works and/or Auto CAD and have good customer-facing skills.
