How you'll make an impact
In this role, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day management of a corporate client motor recovery team. You'll work closely with the management teams to deliver exceptional client service and achieve key targets.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and mentoring a team of claims handlers, ensuring they meet client service level agreements and key performance indicators.
- Acting as the key link between claims handlers and the management teams, ensuring smooth communication and alignment.
- Overseeing the documentation of recovery procedures and preparing for client service reviews.
- Monitoring team performance, providing training, and addressing any issues in a fair and timely manner.
- Managing high-profile or contentious cases, ensuring quality standards are met and client outcomes are optimised.
- Supporting financial targets by controlling the claim lifecycle and assisting with aged debt recovery.
About You
- Experience in motor claims handling within a legal, insurance, or claims management environment, including pre-litigated claims.
- Team management and people responsibility experience within a similar setting.
- Proven experience working directly with clients, including hosting client meetings.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team to achieve high performance.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- A proactive and pragmatic approach, with the ability to think critically and solve problems effectively.
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to build credibility and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- A flexible and adaptable mindset, with a willingness to accommodate unexpected situations.
