Senior Project Manager Water/Wastewater Capital Delivery
Location: Swindon

This is a key role within a leading infrastructure provider delivering major Water and Wastewater Capital Projects across the UK. Youll lead complex programmes that protect future water supply, improve environmental performance and support long-term resilience.
What youll be doing
Lead delivery of complex or concurrent water/wastewater capital projects
Manage multidisciplinary teams across engineering, construction, planning, SHEQ and commercial
Apply strong governance, programme controls, cost management and risk mitigation
Act as senior escalation point for technical and contractual issues
Oversee integrated planning, resource alignment and critical path progress
Full accountability for forecasting, cost control and commercial reporting
Manage supply chain performance, variations, early warnings and value engineering
Champion HSE leadership and safe working practices
Build capability through coaching and structured team development
Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and clear communication
What you MUST bring
Proven experience delivering water or wastewater projects (capital delivery, networks, treatment, infrastructure)
Strong leadership of cross-functional teams
Contract/commercial management experience (NEC/JCT)
Solid financial and programme management capability
Effective risk identification and mitigation
Excellent stakeholder and client management
Ability to develop and guide project delivery teams
Strong understanding of HSE requirements
Proficiency with Primavera or MS Project
Relevant degree or equivalent experience
CSCS, SMSTS, IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH General Certificate
