iRecruit4 are currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Operative to join a well-established company based on the outskirts of Swindon. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong practical background who is looking for a long-term position with the potential to become permanent.
The role is hands-on and varied, working as part of a busy team to maintain and prepare temporary buildings. You will use your practical skills across a range of general maintenance, refurbishment and repair work.
Hours, Pay & Benefits:
- £15.00 per hour
- Monday to Friday
- 7:30am - 5:00pm
- 45 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out general maintenance and refurbishment work
- Plastering and patching
- Carpentry and joinery work
- Refitting and installing fixtures
- Basic plumbing and repair work
- Using hand and power tools
- Preparing temporary buildings ready for customer use
- Ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Working as part of a team to meet deadlines
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a multi-skilled maintenance, construction or property maintenance role
- Practical experience with carpentry, plastering and general refurbishment
- Experience with plumbing or electrical work would be advantageous
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual work
- Reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
