Pay, Hours & Benefits for Class 2 HGV Driver:

Duties for Class 2 HGV Driver:
- Completing multi-drop deliveries to commercial customers
- Driving a Class 2 (Category C) HGV vehicle safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading deliveries using a tail lift and pump truck
- Carrying out manual handling throughout the working day
- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately
- Providing a professional and friendly service to customers
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
Requirements for Class 2 HGV Driver:
- A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 6 months HGV / Class 2 driving experience
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience
- Experience using a tail lift and pump truck is advantageous
- A reliable, professional and customer-focused attitude
- Good knowledge of Drivers Hours, Working Time Directive and road transport legislation
- Be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
