Are you an Electronics or Electrical Technician or similar with a HND or HNC, looking to progress off the tools into an Instructor or Trainer role, with one of the UK's biggest defence contractors, who are responsible for training the next wave of technicians in a military environment?

On offer is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a multi-billion-pound global engineering and defence company, who have an industry reputation for providing one of the top training and progression programs and often works on several large-scale projects around the UK. This is a unique opportunity where you will be funded for qualifications to improve your career and progress into senior management.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering hands-on electrical training to military trainees, deliver pre-set lesson plans, training and assessments, monitor trainee development and collaborate with colleagues to improve internal processes and uphold health and safety. This is a Monday to Friday role, 37 hour week - no overtime required.

This role would suit an Electronics or Electrical Technician with a HND or HNC, from any background looking for an off the tools role, full training to become an instructor and the opportunity to work for one of the biggest defence companies in the UK.

THE ROLE:

  • Deliver engaging lessons using pre-set course materials
  • Prepare lesson plans and assess military students results
  • Develop training content and improve course development
  • Collaborate with colleagues and internal teams
  • Mon - Fri, 37 hour week.

THE PERSON:

  • Electronics / Electrical Technician or similar
  • HNC / HND in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
  • Looking to progress into an off the tools, Trainer / Instructor role
  • Commutable to Lyneham
