Adults & Children Solicitor needed in Swindon Paying £38.20 per hr ref 135109 Full time hours on a temporarybasis Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of adult social care and children's law matters from instruction through to conclusion.
Provide specialist legal advice on matters relating to child protection, care proceedings, safeguarding, fostering, adoption, special guardianship, and public law children's matters.
Advise on adult social care issues including the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, Court of Protection matters, safeguarding adults, and community care law.
Prepare and review legal documentation, including applications, pleadings, witness statements, agreements, reports, and legal correspondence.
Represent clients in court proceedings, tribunals, case management hearings, and other legal forums.
Instruct and liaise with counsel, experts, social workers, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
Provide clear, practical, and risk-based legal advice on complex and sensitive cases.
Conduct legal research and keep abreast of legislative developments, case law, and best practice.
Deliver training and legal guidance to colleagues and stakeholders where required.
Ensure files are managed effectively and in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.
