Job Duties of the Account Manager:
- Develop new business opportunities within the care and healthcare sector through networking, referrals, and relationship building.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, social workers, GPs, care coordinators, discharge teams, and healthcare professionals.
- Promote the company’s care advisory services and wider support offerings to key stakeholders.
- Attend networking events, healthcare forums, and community meetings, representing the organisation professionally.
- Manage care accounts, ensuring relationships are built.
- Arrange and attend meetings with prospective clients and key decision-makers in health and social care.
- Act as a key point of contact for client enquiries, ensuring a high level of service and responsiveness.
- Develop and manage a pipeline of care sector opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, business development activity, and CRM updates.
- Work closely with internal care and operational teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Meet and exceed agreed sales and growth targets.
Requirements for Account Manager:
- Previous Sales experience (essential).
- Experience in business development, sales, account management, recruitment, or relationship management, ideally within the care, healthcare, or social care sector.
- Strong understanding of the care industry and key stakeholders within health and social care systems.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Highly self-motivated, proactive, and target-driven.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential).
- Willingness to travel regularly for meetings and networking.
