HOURS: Monday - Thursday 06:00 - 18:00

SALARY: £31,493.28 plus excellent benefits

We are currently recruiting for an additional Line Leader to join our Foiling team based at our Penny Emma Way site in Sutton in Ashfield.

As Line Leader you are responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of foiling machines including machine start-up and shutdown procedures, monitoring production processes, carrying out product changeovers, troubleshooting operational issues, and performing preventative maintenance ensuring all products meet quality standards while achieving production targets, minimising downtime, and maintaining a safe working environment.

WHAT OUR LINE LEADERS DO:

  • Conduct daily pre-start up checks to ensure machines are safe to run
  • Comply and adhere with all health, safety and environmental standards
  • Adhere to risk assessments, SOP's and safe systems of work
  • Maintain high housekeeping and health and safety standards
  • Follow safety procedures and ensure a safe work environment in line with SHE requirements
  • Actively coach, support and upskill Foiling Operatives working on a production line
  • Monitor the foiling process, adjusting machine settings, and ensuring optimal performance
  • Identify and resolve problems within the foiling process, including equipment malfunctions and material issues
  • Inspect foiled products for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications

WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR LINE LEADERS:

  • Previous experience to carry out machine set up, troubleshooting and quality control
  • Competent in reading product specification
  • Experience in product inspection, checking and planning ahead
  • Strong Attention to detail
  • Good written, numeracy and verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of key safety activities and safe working practice
