About the Role:

Are you an experienced Search Processor or Conveyancing Assistant looking for an exceptional work-life balance without compromising your earning potential? We are an established property search provider looking for a meticulous and client-focused Search Processor to join our team in Sutton Coldfield. In this vital role, you will act as a key point of contact for solicitors and conveyancers, managing and fulfilling their property search orders with absolute accuracy.

By offering a permanent 32-hour contract spread over 4 days, alongside a 50/50 hybrid working split (2 days office-based, 2 days remote), we provide the flexibility that standard corporate roles cannot match.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Processing: Receive, review, and advise on incoming property search requests from solicitor clients.
  • Mapping & Compiling: Utilize online portals and mapping software to identify property boundaries and compile comprehensive search bundles (including Local Authority, Drainage & Water, Environmental, and Chancel searches).
  • Client Liaison: Act as a trusted adviser to solicitors, handling queries regarding search criteria, tracking order progress, and resolving queries.
  • Third-Party Chasing: Proactively communicate with local authorities and external suppliers to ensure the timely return of search data.

What We Are Looking For:

  • To hit the ground running, you must have prior experience working within the property search industry or a residential conveyancing environment.
  • Industry Experience: Direct experience working for a property search network (e.g., InfoTrack, SearchFlow, Index PI, or similar) or as a Conveyancing Assistant/Paralegal or Estate Agency in a sales progressing role.
  • Technical Proficiency: Confidence using online ordering portals, digital boundary mapping tools, and case management software.
  • Attention to Detail: An analytical eye with the ability to spot data errors and verify legal boundaries accurately.
  • Communication Skills: An excellent telephone manner and professional email etiquette for supporting solicitor accounts.
  • Proximity: Ability to easily commute to our Sutton Coldfield office (B72) for the 2 office-based days per week.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Remuneration: £23,500 per annum for a 32-hour week.
  • True Work-Life Balance: A permanent 4-day working week.
  • Hybrid Flexibility: 2 days working from home, 2 days in our collaborative Sutton Coldfield office.
  • Generous Holiday Allowance: Pro-rata statutory holiday package (33 days per year, full time equivalent, inclusive of bank holidays).
  • Supportive Environment: A friendly, expert team focused on quality service rather than rigid call-centre metrics.
