We're looking for an exceptional Room Leader to lead one of our nursery rooms, inspiring both children and colleagues while creating a fun, safe and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
What you'll be doing As one of our Room Leaders, you'll:
lead, motivate and support a dedicated team of childcare professionals
create inspiring learning experiences that spark curiosity and imagination
plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS
help lead our exciting weekly Forest School sessions, encouraging children to learn through nature
build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues
ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, health & safety and wellbeing
monitor children's development and celebrate every milestone
keep your room organised, welcoming and full of opportunities to learn through play
What we're looking for You'll be someone who:
holds a Level 3 Childcare qualification (essential)
has at least 2 years' nursery experience
has experience leading or supervising a small team
has a strong understanding of the EYFS and child development
is creative, energetic and passionate about giving children the very best start in life
loves outdoor learning and enjoys getting involved in Forest School activities
is an excellent communicator with children, parents and colleagues
has the right to work in the UK & lives within 30-45 minute commuting time
