Experienced and professional Roofer required to work with a leading and highly reputable Sunderland based Housing. My client requires an experienced Roofer to join their maintenance team on a temporary contract. The role involves carrying out responsive and planned roofing maintenance and replacement works across customers' homes.
Location: Sunderland
Pay: £20.08 per hour (Via CIS or Umbrella)
Hours: Full-time
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 12 weeks
- Carry out responsive and planned roofing maintenance and replacement works
- Complete flat roofing works, gutter re-lines, replacements and cleaning
- Work safely as part of a maintenance team across customers' homes
- Ensure appropriate parts and materials are available to complete works promptly
- Manage van-based stock effectively
- Provide excellent customer service through clear and respectful communication
- Complete all work in line with relevant legal, Health & Safety and organizational standards
Requirements
- Must hold a full UK Driving Licence
- DBS required for the position
- Recognised indentured craft apprenticeship in roofing or City & Guilds
- Advanced Craft Certificate in Roofing, Slating & Tiling or NVQ Level 2 in Roofing, Slating & Tiling
- Hot Works Training
- TETRA Ladder Safety System Level 13
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant Health & Safety regulations
- Ability to work at height and in external environments
- Effective communication and customer care skills
- Flexible approach to meet the demands of the role
- Competent using handheld IT systems
- Openness to continual learning and developing skills
