The Just Recruitment Group Ltd is currently recruiting for a Senior Lead Injection Moulding Technician for their client based in Sudbury, Suffolk.

Weekly rotating shift pattern of 6.00am - 2.30pm and 9.30am - 6.00pm

The successful candidate will take full responsibility of their shift, in terms of supervision of staff, management of production and quality targets and to ensure the smooth running of the production processes.

Monitor measure and report on production related process performance, general issues.

Setting machines to ensure the smooth running of the production process and that all products are produced to the stated specifications.

Set the moulding machines Must be able to carry out tool trials without guidance from any setting sheets

Essential requirements: Knowledge and experience with the implementation of ISO9001-2015 Minimum 3 years working in a manufacturing environment as a Shift Supervisor or within an equivalent capacity.

Ideally from a plastics background.

Must be able to set and trouble shoot injection moulding machines to a very high standard.

Knowledge of air & hydraulic cores.

Able to use hot runner controllers.

Basic electrical knowledge.

Knowledge of plastic materials.

Knowledge of insert changing and understanding toolmaking and component drawings
