HGV Class 2 Driver – Stourbridge People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Stourbridge, West Midlands.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a LGV Class 1 Driver , CE Driver or Articulated Lorry Driver .

  • Monday to Friday
  • Start times between 07:00 and 08:00 Rates of Pay : £15.00 per hour (basic) Benefits

  • Completing multi-drop deliveries
  • Operating and driving Class 2 (Category C) vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Ensuring all loads are loaded and secured correctly
  • Adhering to traffic laws and regulations
  • Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
  • Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
  • Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo when required Essential Skills
  • Valid UK Category C driving licence
  • Minimum of 12 month's experience driving Category C vehicles
  • Valid Driver CPC card and Digital Tachograph card
  • No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no major endorsement codes)
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Punctual with excellent time-keeping
  • Good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
  • Effective communication skills Desirable Experience
  • Previous commercial driving experience
  • Previous multi-drop delivery experience Training Provided Ongoing support throughout the assignment
