Are you an aspiring Engineer with an NVQ, BTEC, T Level or similar qualification, a full UK driving licence, and an interest in engineering or machinery, looking to join a long-established manufacturer offering full training and a clear progression route into Technical Sales?

This UK manufacturer, with a £21 million turnover, has over 65 years of experience designing and supplying pumping and fluid handling solutions to the construction, utilities, housing and wastewater sectors. Known for their quality products and expert technical support, they offer structured training and genuine long-term career development within a growing engineering business.

In this office-based role, you will support the technical sales team by responding to customer enquiries, preparing quotations, updating CRM records and helping customers identify the correct pumping solutions for their projects. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will receive full product and industry training while developing the technical and commercial skills needed to progress into a Technical Sales Engineer position.

This role would suit an aspiring Engineer with an NVQ, BTEC, T Level or similar qualification, looking for full training and long-term progression into Technical Sales.

The Role:

  • Office-based technical support for customers and the sales team
  • Respond to technical enquiries and recommend suitable products
  • Prepare quotations and tender documentation
  • Maintain accurate CRM records
  • Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams
  • Full product and technical training with progression into Technical Sales
  • 40-hour week, flexible between 8:00am and 6:00pm

The Person:

  • NVQ, BTEC, T Level or similar engineering qualification
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong English and Maths skills
  • Interest in engineering, manufacturing or machinery
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Own transport and commutable to Stoke-on-Trent
