Chroma Recruitment is looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to support the design and development of electrical systems within a low-voltage industrial environment. This role will see you working on electrical schematics, control panels, power distribution systems, and technical documentation for automated industrial equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design electrical systems, control panels, and power distribution solutions
- Produce electrical CAD drawings, wiring diagrams, and BOMs
- Ensure compliance with BS EN, IEC, and UL standards
- Support FAT/SAT testing, troubleshooting, and technical documentation
- Work closely with engineering, production, and sourcing teams
Experience Required:
- Previous experience as an Electrical Design Engineer within industrial automation, machinery, or manufacturing
- Strong CAD and electrical documentation skills
- Knowledge of PLCs, motors, drives, encoders, and low-voltage systems
- SolidWorks Electrical Software or similar
