Are you a Mechanical or Structural Design Engineer with experience working within the water or nuclear industries, looking for a technical role working on specialist projects within a well-established company who work with some of the biggest organisations in the UK?

This growing company are currently working on some huge projects within the Nuclear and Water industries for a range of clients including the water authorities and Tier 1 contractors. Their work encompassed services from steelwork, pipework, SFP tanks and more. They provide a range of services from design, fabrication and installation.

In this varied role you will be part of the tight-knit design team working on specialist water and nuclear projects. Your duties will include following project briefs, designing using advanced steel, visiting sites for scanning using 3D point cloud surveys. During the site visits, travel is paid for and when staying overnight on occasion, food and accommodation is also covered.

This role would suit a Design Engineer from a Water, Nuclear or similar background who is looking to play a pivotal part in a growing company that offers lots of training and progression opportunities.

The Role:
  • Work on varied nuclear and water projects
  • Play a big part in the design team, liaising across the business and with clients
  • Develop structural, pipe and instrumentation diagrams
  • Occasional site visits
  • Funded training and qualifications
  • Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm
