We are currently recruiting for an experienced and driven Commercial Vehicle Sales Executive to join a long-established and highly respected commercial vehicle business. Established in 1959, our client has built over 65 years of success across key areas including Renault Trucks, Isuzu Trucks, trailers, rental and contract hire, bodywork and repair. They are a leading provider within the commercial vehicle industry and pride themselves on delivering outstanding customer service and long-term transport solutions.
Following significant investment and development across their sites, they are now looking for a Commercial Vehicle Sales Professional to support an established customer base, develop new business opportunities and represent the brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.
The Role
As a Commercial Vehicle Sales Executive, you will be responsible for selling a range of commercial and heavy goods vehicles from 3.5 to 13.5 tonnes, along with the wider products and services offered by the group. You will work with both existing customers and new prospects, building strong relationships and understanding their transport requirements to provide cost-effective and efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Selling new and used commercial vehicles to local and national customers
- Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Identifying new business opportunities and building a strong sales pipeline
- Promoting finance, leasing, contract hire and rental options to customers
- Demonstrating the full range of vehicles, products and services available
- Following up on leads and maximising sales opportunities
- Achieving monthly sales targets and contributing to business growth
- Working closely with the Sales Support team to ensure a smooth customer journey
- Delivering excellent customer service throughout the full sales process
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience within car sales, commercial vehicle sales, contract hire, rental, fleet sales or a similar automotive sales role would be highly advantageous. You will also need:
