Are you an experienced Van Driver (Cat B) looking for regular work around the SK postcode? Driver Hire Stockport is currently recruiting for experienced Van Drivers (Cat B) to join our team and work with a variety of our well-established clients across the SK postcode. With over 40 years of supplying quality drivers to local businesses, we've built long-standing relationships with our customers and can offer a variety of work Monday to Saturday, with even more opportunities available as the busy season approaches.

Start times vary depending on the client but are typically between 4:00am and 8:00am.

The Role: You'll be driving a range of vehicles, including:

  • Sprinter vans
  • Flatbed vans
  • Curtainsider vans

The type of work will vary from client to client, so you'll need to be a confident, adaptable driver who is comfortable working in different environments, including city centre locations.

To be considered, you'll need:

  • A full UK driving licence with Category B entitlement
  • Previous van driving experience
  • Your own transport to travel to and from client sites
  • No more than 6 penalty points and no major endorsements
  • Confidence driving in busy town and city centres
  • A positive attitude, reliability and a strong work ethic

Please note: You must have access to your own vehicle to travel to and from our clients' sites. Unfortunately, applicants without their own transport will not be considered.

Pay & Benefits

  • £12.80 per hour (Monday to Friday)
  • £14.50 per hour on Saturdays
  • Weekly pay via PAYE
  • Holiday pay accrued
  • Workplace pension (when eligible)
