Printers required for a Stevenage printing company. This is an established company with strong growth and excellent prospects of progression. This role is a temporary to permanent position for the right person.
The candidate would be running a Siat L33 or L36 printing press, printing customers' designs onto self-adhesive tape, converting jumbo rolls into smaller sized hand rolls with the design printed onto it. A semi-automatic machine with the operator setting the jobs and manually taking finished goods from the press and replacing them with fresh cores.
The printer will have to read a job card and understand the artwork/proof for each specific job. The company uses solvent-based inks printing onto the top surface of the material.
Salary: £25k to £28k per annum depending on experience. Hours: 7am till 4pm - 20 min tea break and 30 minutes for lunch.
