The Product Manager ensures all stock is monitored, packed, and released in line with Group and customer requirements, maximising stock utilisation and maintaining high service levels.
Duties
- Monitor and manage quality on site to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Manage and allocate roll stock and sales orders to maximise utilisation.
- Supervise packing operations, ensuring staff follow standards and specifications.
- Motivate and encourage staff to maintain company quality standards.
- Plan and manage daily stock requirements and usage.
- Inspect and advise on returned or stored stock, escalating issues to management.
- Ensure all stored and dispatched products meet company specifications.
- Advise on quality issues during packing and conduct re-inspections when required.
- Ensure pallets are safely stacked and handled correctly.
- Conduct shelf-life trials to assess product quality.
- Monitor storage temperatures and advise on corrective action when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment.
- Support trials, product evaluations, and other QC-related activities.
