We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver on a temp-to-permanent basis.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering furniture to schools across the UK. This is a customer-facing role, so professionalism, excellent customer service skills, and attention to detail are essential. Drivers can expect to complete between 1 and 8 deliveries per day, depending on the size and complexity of each order. Routes may cover locations throughout the UK.

Requirements

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Willingness to stay away from home when required
  • Comfortable sleeping in the vehicle cab during overnight stays
  • Prepared to undertake a DBS check (paid for by the company)
  • Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting and manual handling throughout the day
  • Strong customer service skills and a professional, presentable manner
  • Looking for long-term employment with the opportunity to secure a permanent position

Working Hours

Monday to Friday - 7am flexible starts. Approximately 50 hours per week. Start times typically between 05:00 and 07:00, depending on delivery schedules and locations.
